There's no right way to look after your wellbeing, but if you're not too sure where to start or need a gentle reminder to look after head, these are some small things you can do every now and then.
1. Find ways to relax
If there is something that helps you unwind, try to find time in your daily routine to do it. It could be anything that helps you to switch off, like going for a bike ride or taking a bath.
2. Step away from the screen
Reduce the time you spent in front of the screen. Ideally, you should step away from any size screen an hour before you want to go to bed to give your mind time to unwind.
3. Get stuck into nature
We don't all have to be Bear Grylls to enjoy being outdoors. Whether it's just a lunchtime stroll or trying to grow your own veg, being outside and breathing the fresh air can help us all to improve our moods and reduce stress.
4. Connect with others
Even if your a massive introvert, it is important for everyone to have relationships with other people. Try to cut out some social time by having coffee with a friend, join a class or even volunteer!
5. Allow yourself breaks
Don't be too hard on yourself. We all can feel overwhelmed and stressed. A change of scenery, even for a few minutes can help alleviate anxiety.
